I've got the low-down, dirty Bluegrass Blues

No job, no furniture, and I've caught the plague. Dan was telling me the other day how he kept running into other people in the bathrooms at his job who were in various stages of this stomach bug. So let's just say I wasn't the least surprised when I started to feel a bit nauseous on Thursday night, and by midnight, it was in full swing. Dan swooped in to comfort me as I balled my eyes out that I couldn't stop barfing. It was a lovely moment. Dan appears to be getting better and he's on day 5, so now I just have to wait until Tuesday to feel completely human again.

The moving company is giving us some problems. Nothing extreme, its just frustrating waiting for our stuff to come. I'm not going to go into detail simply because it ticks me off, and there is no point in stressing myself out about it.

No call about a second interview....yet? There was a snow day on Friday, so I'm hoping that got in the way of people being called for second interviews. I found a few other jobs and applied for them on Thursday. Fingers crossed.

I told Dan this morning, "I'm trapped in a vanilla jail cell, " although our walls are really more of a French vanilla. I pride myself on saying things that are rather dramatic and weird at the same time. Dan and I call it my "fake drama." I get to let off some steam, and we get to laugh about it.

In happy news, Dan and I were turned onto the show "30 Rock" by my sister, Laura. Chances are if Laura thinks something is hilarious, we will too. We've been watching it on nbc.com and there are quite a few episodes. If you have an odd sense of humor, check it out.

Cassie, you know what would make me feel better? Some more pics of my scrumptious future daughter-in-law.

Ha! I'd be happy to send you more, I have tons, check your email. I'm just afraid of being obnoxious by sending too many pics :)
